Since 2019,
some have left, some have stayed, some have lost their freedom.
Scattered across the world,
each of us has learned a little of what it is to be alone.
That summer, we used to say:
“Brothers climb the mountain, each by their own path.”
These days each of us climbs alone –
but “up together, down together” still stands.
Behind the walls there are many of us still,
living through nights longer and quieter than ours.
Joshua Wong is one of them.
They tore down our Lennon Walls.
So here we put one up again.
1Pick a day
One note a day, to tell him: we remember. Your few words are his company for that day. Yellow days already have someone. White days are still waiting for one person – perhaps you.
